Hey, one more thing before you go. It's the Golden Globes time of year, Diane.
Yes, it is. Yay.
So in this particular case, the 82nd annual Golden Globes will be held at the Beverly Hills Hotel In Los Angeles, California, on this Sunday, today, this evening, beginning at 5pm Pacific, 8pm Eastern. The event marks the first major ceremony of the film awards season which. Which culminates with the Oscars on March 2nd.
And it continues throughout the year with the Emmys and the screen actors and the. So many more involved in the entertainment industry. Too many to list, especially when I can't talk.
But the Globes is a much less formal event than the Academy Awards and some of the others, with celebrities generally in a good mood after the Christmas break. So, Diane, I think that we should give everybody a brief overview of some of the ones that we really like.
We can't do a really long episode today because I am losing my voice as we can hear. I've got some kind of laryngitis going on. So my apologies to our community in advance. But I had to talk about this, right?
Yeah. I mean, it's a big day for entertainment, so it would have been weird for us not to talk about it.
Exactly. So we're going to share a little bit again, a little bit of what our favorites are.
The ones that we really haven't seen because we haven't seen everything yet.
There's a lot of them that are still in the movie theaters and we're waiting for them to come home because we don't go to the movie theaters very often anymore.
Nope.
There are some television categories that some of them. We've seen all of the categories and we want them all to win.
Yeah, there's a couple that have. Well, there's one for sure that I've looked at, that one category that I like, every single one. I've seen every single one.
And I want them all to win, but.
Well, let's get rolling before I lose my voice completely. I'm your host, Michael Hurst. I'm here with my lovely wife and co host Diane. Welcome to one more thing before you go. Hello, Diane.
Hello, Michael.
Are we excited for tonight? It's kind of conflicting. We're hoping that the Denver Bronco football game doesn't intercede within our favorite pastime in January.
Yes. Well, you know, Denver's playing Kansas City, who's, you know, probably headed to the super bowl again. So I don't know. We'll see.
We'll see how the game goes.
See what happens. Well, hopefully yeah, hopefully it won't, you know, kind of run into the.
The Golden Globes, because I think that, you know, I'd hate to have them cut part of it off, at least the beginning, because it's always good. Because I'm really, really excited about the host this year.
I know. I love Nikki Glaser. Oh, I love her. She's so funny.
She's been, you know, doing little promos up to this point, and really fantastic. We watched her, loved her, and I mean, we followed her career anyway, and we've watched a lot of her Netflix specials.
We've been fans for a long time.
Yeah. I think the best one, and I think a lot of people's best one is when she was on the Roast of Tom Brady.
Oh, my God. Well, when you have. Oh, my God, I just lost his name.
Well, when you have Kevin Hart literally jumping out of his seat laughing at your jokes, I mean, you know, that's. You've pretty much made it, I think, especially when he was hosting the show. So. Yeah, she did a phenomenal job.
Phenomenal job, as everyone knows. And, you know, my favorite was. Well, did we give that one away?
We'll just say the Gronka. The Gronk joke.
Gronkowski was a guest there as well, obviously, for.
He was laughing. He was laughing at it. Yeah, he was laughing at it.
Yeah. They were talking about bitcoin and, you know, you know me know that Not Real Money had him rolling on the floor, too. It was really funny. Very funny.
So.
Well, and, you know, I mean, she's. She's such a Roast queen. I can't imagine she's not going to, like, semi roast people tonight. So I'm kind of excited to see that.
I. I would hope so.
It probably will not be as interesting or as adult oriented as it was correct through the Tom Brady roast, but, you know, I'm still looking forward to. I think it's going to be good. Things gonna be good. Well, let's talk a little bit about what's going on.
The main best motion picture categories and things like that that are coming up. The film contenders are Emilia Perez, which we have seen. It has 10 nominations. The brutalist has seven. We have not seen that yet.
It's still in the movie theater conclave. Same thing. It's got six. Nora and the Substance have five challengers, which we started to watch.
We started to watch it. Yeah, we got something sidetracked.
Kind of got sidetracked with some stuff.
Not that it's not good. We just really just got Started with it, yeah.
Got sidetracked with a lot of these.
Unfortunately, we got a late start with watching a lot of these things because number one, life and Christmas and New Year's and, you know, just life things got in the way. But anyway, challengers that we're going to go back and finish that because it looks really, really interesting.
Them, along with the Real Pain Wicked and the Wild Robot, have four each. And I think that I'm really excited about several of those in there and actually going back and watching some of those.
We saw a thing on CBS Sunday Morning this morning about the Brutalist. And I think I never was interested in it before, but after watching that, I think I would be interested.
Yeah. And then also the Room Next Door, she was also on. Tilda Swinton was on the show as well. And I know, I want to see that movie, too. A Room Next Door.
Yeah, we've got a list. I mean, we've got a list. We've always got a list. But, you know, we just have to star these to make sure that we get them.
And then, of course, in TV and stuff like that, we've got some old favorites and things that I never got to see the full baby reindeer. But you did, and you loved it.
Oh, I love baby reindeer. I love it.
But then Shogun is up for in the TV category, and you didn't see the Shogun. And I'm only partially through Shogun.
And I saw. I saw parts of it when you were watching it, and it was pretty brutal. So I didn't really watch all of it.
No, it's probably no more brutal than used to watch that.
The Last Kingdom.
Yeah, I mean, that was. That was brutal, too.
That's true.
But the bear is making a revisit, of course, under some of the shows that are competing in TV categories. And we'll go over it just really fast here in a few minutes because again, I'm sorry, I cannot talk very much longer, but.
And you're not feeling well.
I'm not feeling well.
But the drama category, the Brutalist follows a Hungarian architect who tries to build a new life for himself in America following World War II up against conclave, which is based on a 2016 novel by Robert Harris, which depicts a group of gossipy and scheming cardinals who gather in Rome to select a new pope. I bring that up because I've been seeing the commercials for that, and I do want to see that as well.
I haven't seen any commercials for that.
Yeah, there are some that. I mean, I'm Home. You work out of the home too.
But I've had the opportunity to see some of those and it interests me because obviously, as we all know, I grew up Catholic, so.
Yeah. Well, it sounds interesting.
Yeah, it really looks kind of interesting. I'd like to see how that plays out. The other one that they're really doing a lot of buzz on is Nickel Boys. We've not seen Nickel Boys. That's about.
No, I haven't seen an ad for that even I don't think.
I don't believe I have either. But according to BBC, according to Golden Globes cited Self and IMDb, it's about two young men forced to attend a reform school in 1960s Florida.
September 5, which dramatizes the terror attack on the 1972 Munich Olympics from the perspective of the sports journalist who covered it, which I remember watching that on TV while it was happening in the news coverage of that. So I am kind of interested in that a little bit just because I grew up, I watched it as a kid. Things like Dune Part 2. I'm about halfway through that.
And so far it is living up to expectations with Dune and some of the other things that are going on with Dune. They've got a series as well that's going to happen.
And I don't know if I'm ever really interested in Bob Dylan's rise to fame and the sixties, the Complete unknown.
But yeah, you know, I, I. Who's gonna. I. Look, people have, people are fans of certain people or people like certain people.
I'm just not a Bob Dylan fan, so I don't need to and, but.
Just, I mean just to.
For everybody else that's out here, the fact that except for the best motion picture drama alongside the Brutalist, A Complete Unknown conclave, Dune part two, Nickel boys in September 5th. So of those, we haven't seen any of them other than.
We haven't seen any of them.
Well, a half a. Dune Part 2 Now we have seen at least two. Two of the best motion picture musical comedies we've seen. Amelia Perez, which really was really done well.
Loved. Yeah, I loved, I loved it. I really loved it.
Spanish language film, so it is dubbed. So be prepared for that. They do speak English, you know, throughout a little bit, but it is primarily spoken in Spanish.
So you have to keep up with that and be. But in spite of it, Selena Gomez did an absolutely fantastic job.
Yes. As well as Carla Sophia Gascollen. I hope I'm saying that right. Wow. She was good.
Usually good in it.
Wow. I mean so is Selena Gomez, of course, but everybody.
I think everybody did a really good job in this.
Yes. I mean, I don't. We weren't. To be honest, we weren't planning on really watching the movie. We weren't. We were just, you know, whatever.
And then we saw that it was nominated. Like, oh, well, let's, let's, let's do it. And I'm so glad we did. I loved the movie so much.
And Selena Gomez got a standing ovation in Cannes. It was like a 20 or 25 minute standing ovation for Emilia Perez. And the fact is, our kids grew up with Selena Gomez. We grew up watching her.
We watched her grow up and turn and grow into the young woman that she is now. You know, not from a parental perspective, but in reality, you know, we followed her career as the kids grew up and appreciate where she's.
Where she is in this life. She only murders in the building. She obviously is a co producer on that as well.
And so many other projects that she's done that she contributes in a very, very positive way. And this is something that really is completely out of the. I won't say wheelhouse, but is it normal?
It's kind of out of the norm for her. She did great.
She embraced it really well. She embraced it really well.
And then, of course, an executive producer on it. Is that right? So, yeah, that's what she was getting the standing ovation for.
Well, that. Interacting.
Yeah.
But the. And I think she's not. She's nominated for it as well. On. As well. And then, of course, wicked. Wicked, like, phenomenal.
I'm so shocked that they only got four nominations.
I am as well, because between the everything, the story, the cinematography, the casting, the musical portion of it, the everything, everything that was created to reinvent the telling of the wizard of Oz from this perspective, the, the. The. Just the. The library scene in itself was phenomenal. You know what I mean?
So everything was the whole thing.
Yeah, everything. The musical, the choreography, everything. I don't know why they only got four, but. Well, yeah, we'll go on down to the end of it.
But in reality, those are the only two that we've actually seen from a best motion picture musical comedy. Anora is another one. That's up. Challengers, as we spoke about earlier, A Real Pain, which. Is that the one with Demi Moore? No, with Demi.
No, I think. I think Demi Moore's with the substance.
A real. Yes. So it. So substance. And then Wicked. And then, of course, A Real Pain.
Sorry, A Real Pain is Jesse EISENBERG. And Kieran Culkin.
Oh, yeah. Yes, yes.
And Jesse Eisenberg actually. Jesse Eisenberg actually wrote it.
So again, we're just going to run through some of these really quick. The best motion picture animated of the 1, 2, 3, 4, 4, 5, 6 opportunities for people to win. I think we've seen two of just two. Two or one of which.
One best animated.
Yes. We've seen Inside Out 2.
I want to see Moana too.
I want to see Moana too also. You know, here's the problem. I think they, they do these and they put them up.
But I think from a perspective, from a Hollywood's perspective, and this is just my opinion, my observation, and you know, I've.
I've been lucky enough to work with people from the Hollywood industry for such a long time and I still have connections and friends through the Hollywood industry. But I think that they do this in such a way that they generate more sales for you to go see the movie in the movie theater and.
Or to rent it for 25 bucks.
Yeah.
From the home, you know, home studio opportunity. But so with a lot of these we haven't seen because we weren't able to go to the movies and several reasons. One is because we didn't have the time.
And two, because obviously I'm sick, so. But Memoirs of a Snail, the things that I've seen of it, the little short, short stuff, the, the little promos. Seems like it's a wonderful.
Going to be a wonderful little cute movie. Moana too. Yes, we are adults. Yes, we want to see Moana too.
I want to see Moana too. I just do.
Wallace and Gromit, Vengeance Most Foul on. Oh, that's on Netflix. We should watch that one.
Okay. Don't they have other ones too that we haven't seen? Well, I'm not Wallace and Grommet, I think, I think they've been around for a while.
Oh, Wallace and Grommet have the other ones. Yeah, I believe that. Yeah, yeah. Because we've actually seen a couple of the Wallace and Grommets and Wild Robot, of course, same thing.
So I would say out of all of those not knowing and seeing all these others, I hope that, I hope that Inside out too, because it's a. It's definitely focused on mental health and well being and so forth and what you do.
But at Moana too is also about empowerment and, you know, positivity and family and community and ohana and, you know, the importance of living with Mother Nature and so forth. So to me, I'm kind of cheering for either one of those.
Yes, I am too.
Cinematic and box office achievements. Cinematic and box office achievements. Alien Romulus put up by Walt Disney Studios. Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, which we've seen.
Deadpool and Wolverine, which we've seen. Gladiator 2, which we have not seen. But we want to. But it's still a movie. It's at home. But they want a lot of money to watch it.
We actually just watched Gladiator a few weeks ago because I had never seen it. I was probably the only person, you know, in America that hadn't seen it. But it was good. I liked it.
And you need to see that one because it kind of sets up Gladiator 2. So, you know, you absolutely have to see Gladiator before you see Gladiator 2 if you haven't seen it yet.
And Then Inside Out 2 is also nominated in this category. Twisters, which is kind of a re. Not a reinvention, but a retelling of the story that. With Helen Hunt and.
Oh, Bill.
Bill Paxton. Paxton, yeah, Paxton. Which, you know, it. That in itself was obviously a one of a kind thing when it was created. Twisters.
They changed it from Twister to Twisters so that they could do this and they did a really, really good job as Glenn Powell stars. Is the, you know, one of the antagonists in there. And yeah, it's really, really good. You need to see it as well. I enjoyed that.
In Wicked is also in the cinematic and box office achievement. They're one of their nominations is for that. And again my. We saw it in the movie theater. We did go to the movie. The theater.
We did go to movies for Wicked.
Yeah. With my sister and brother in law and oh, just phenomenal movie, that's all I gotta say, phenomenal.
You know, we saw the stage play, the Broadway that was touring and we did see that. And of course growing up with wizard of Oz and several different retellings of it throughout the years and this was just again, phenomenal.
It's only what I can say. And while the Wild Robot, which again, we haven't seen that yet, but we.
Will, I think out of that one, I think it's going to be between Deadpool and Wolverine. And in Wicked, I believe.
I think you're right. I agree with you. I think so as well. You are probably right. Best performance by a female actor in a motion picture.
Pamela Anderson in the Last Showgirl.
Angelina Jolie and Maria Nicole Kibin and Baby Girl, which is, you know, apparently really kind of Attuned to was that one she did with Tom Cruise when they were married. Eyes Wide Shut.
Oh, Eyes Wide Shut. Yeah.
But kind of a different approach. And then Tilda Swinton in the room next door. Fernando Torres. I'm still here. And Kate Winslet Lee.
And again, not having access to all of these at this point, it was difficult for us to really kind of say who we want to win. And in regard to that, best performance by a male actor, Adrian Brody, the brutalist Timothee Chalamet, A complete unknown.
Daniel Craig in Queer Colonial. Oh, queer. Yeah. I mean, it looks pretty good. And again, you know, he's. He is a really diverse actor, Daniel Craig.
And I think that watching him, I was very, very hesitant about accepting him as James Bond. Being a James Bond fan since I was a kid in beginning of the franchise. And, you know, it was kind of. But he really just slid right into that.
And why were you hesitant about him taking it over?
Because, well, it's like you're so used to. You have your favorites, you know, people like Sean Connery, people like, you know, nobody. Well, sorry, Timothy.
Timothy Dalton's at the bottom of the list. I'm sorry.
I think he is for most.
Well, yeah, but then, you know, you. You read Roger Moore, who. I sat at his desk in the London studios to shoot James Bond. Yes, you did.
I didn't get to see him, but I sat at his desk and then Pierce Brosnan, who was my favorite for the longest time. And when Daniel Craig came in, it's like, how can Daniel Craig take Pierce Brosnan's place?
And you were thinking that. Because he doesn't. They. They don't look the same and.
Well, not necessarily. They don't look the same. Their Mad Room's a little bit different. The approach to. It's a little bit different.
And, you know, you just had to get used to it. Daniel Craig came on the scene. He was literally, when you first meet him, he's wearing a gray suit.
When just about every other James Bond movie you saw, you know, James Bond shows up in a. A dark suit, you know, when you first meet him, or a tuxedo. But, you know, obviously that's that.
You know, again, my own opinion, and the reality is, is Daniel Craig is actually a very diverse actor.
We've seen him in several other things, Knives out, and, you know, there's a couple other other programs that he has really, where he plays the detective, you know, kind of a thing. And you. You can see where he is a very diverse individual. I think he he should have an opportunity for winning in that as well. Colman Domingo.
Sing Sing. Ralph. Viennes Conclave. Sebastian. Stan. The Apprentice.
I think it's Ralph Fiennes.
Ralph Fiennes. Pardon me, Ralph. Mr. Fines actor, sir. So, you know, it's a tough. That's a tough group of people maybe try to, you know, come out a winner.
Yeah.
Best performance by a female actor in motion picture musical comedy. Amy Adams. And Night, which we did.
See that. I love it. I loved it.
Yeah, it was really good.
She's great.
We won't give it. We won't give very much away, but you definitely need to see Night Bitch. And yeah, it's. Was it on Netflix? Oh, you asked me.
We subscribe to every one of the streaming services. Sometimes it's just really hard to keep track of, you know, where we see where we watch something.
But it's on one of the streaming networks, whether it be Netflix or Prime or Paramount, one of those others. But I think. Pretty sure it's Netflix.
Or Apple, who knows?
Or Apple. Cynthia Erivo for Wicked. Carlos Sofia, Jamila Perez. Mikey Madison and Nora. Demi Moore, the Substance. Zendaya. Or Zendaya.
Zendaya.
Yeah. I've always called her Zendaya, but I know.
I think I have two.
But, yeah, they came out and corrected everybody, but over the last month, they said Zachary Zendaya for challengers. So again, there's a tough. It's a tough category there, too, on every one of those. We've seen it. We've seen Amy Adams in hers.
We've seen Cynthia Rivo in hers. Carla Sofia Gascon and Amelia Perez. We've seen that.
I. I have to say, I'm. I don't know, Carla. Sophia Gascon did such a phenomenal job.
Yes.
I mean, she just. She did such a phenomenal job. I. She might be a dark horse. Well, even though I love Cynthia Erivo. I mean, Cynthia Erivo can do no wrong in my eyes.
But Carla might take it from her.
And then, of course, best performance from a female actor in a supporting role in any motion picture. Selena Gomez, Amina Perez, Ariana Grande, Wicked. Felicity Jones, the Brutalist. Margaret Qualley, the Substance. Isabella Rossellini, Conclave in.
Zoe Saldana, Emilia Perez.
Oh, she was great, too.
I. I don't know who Margaret Qualley is. So.
Andy McDowell's daughter.
Yes. Okay, so then I haven't seen her act. Or maybe I have.
You have. You have. She was in Once Upon a Time. In Once Upon a Time In. Are you kidding me? What movie was Caitlyn in as an extra.
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
Thank you.
Yeah. God, it was the Quentin Tarantino movie that, yeah, our daughter actually had a, you know, it was very, very, very small part in. Yeah.
And of course we know Isabella Rossellini from Forever and we're very familiar with Zoe Saldana, so. But again, it's going to be a tight. Yeah. Here's the thing. I think Selena Gomez needs to start winning.
She has been in this business for so long and she keeps getting nominated, but she needs to win. But at the same time, Ariana Grande and Wicked fan freaking Tastic.
Yeah, she was, she was.
Yeah. Same thing with Zoe Zeldana.
She was fantastic in Amelia Perez. Fantastic. So that's a hard one.
Best television series drama the Day of the Jackal and Peacock. I have that marked because I wasn't aware it was on Peacock, but I do have that marked. So we need to watch that. The Diplomat. Netflix is on Netflix.
Mr. And Mrs. Smith on Prime Video, Shogun on FX and Hulu slow horses on Apple TV and squid game on Netflix.
Of those, I have watched the Diplomat and you know, because I'm a, I'm a fan of Keri Russell. Have been since she first came into. I was at the Palm Springs Film Festival and she was in independent film.
This was her first movie whatsoever and been a fan since then. She did an astounding, astounding, astounding job in the Diplomat. Mr. Mrs. Smith. Love it as well.
It was a reinvention in series format of the movie that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie actually met in and before they got married, of the same name. Mr. Mrs. Smith, Shogun. It's going to be tight because Shogun is cinematically, it is. Even though it's a series, is done as a movie.
And the locations, the cinematography, the acting, the fact that they have not only American speaking actors in this, they actually have Japanese descendants of the shoguns and the samurais and everybody that's portrayed in the move in the, in the series, they, they are Japanese, they speak Japanese, they, they live there and they are actual descendants. So from that perspective, I think that it really deserves, it really deserves to win from that perspective.
Yeah, I can see where you're going to be on the edge of your seat for that one.
Yes. Although I respect the Diplomat, I also Slow Horses. I've started watching that on Apple TV because I'm a spy geek and it's pretty good.
But I still think Shogun is really kind of the way, the way it should Go Squid Game. I've never really had an. I know I was supposed to give it a fair shake, but I never really had a desire to watch Squid Game.
Actually, I haven't seen any. So moving on, moving on.
Best television series, musical comedy, Abbott elementary on abc. The Bear on fx. Hulu, the Gentleman on Netflix. Hacks, hbo. Max. Nobody wants this Netflix and only version the Building on Hulu.
This is a tight, tight freaking race because I'd like them all to win.
Well, we've seen. We've seen parts of Avid elementary, but obviously it's. It always wins. The Bear is phenomenal. Yeah, the Bear. The Bear is phenomenal. Wasn't.
Was a little disappointed in the past. The last season, but you know, they're still great. The Gentlemen we haven't seen yet. Hacks we haven't seen yet, but we want to.
So we've got. Yeah, we've got the Gentleman in Hacks on our list.
We've been. That's been our list for a while. Nobody wants. This is so, so, so freaking good. It is one of the best rom coms ever made.
So I want that to win, honestly. Well, that winner Only Murders is great too.
But say, oh, that are only murders in the building. I'm. I'm voting for either. Nobody wants this on Netflix. Only Murders in the Building. On who? One of those two need to win.
And you know, only Murders keeps getting nominated, but they never win.
So, yeah, I'd love to see him win.
The Bear and Abbott, you guys have won like a ton. So I think you should like, step back and let somebody else take the. Take the reins.
Yeah.
Now this next one. Best television, limited series, anthology series, or motion picture made for television.
I know a little bit what you might choose on this baby Ranger on Netflix.
Yes.
Disclaimer. Apple TV Plus Monsters, the Lyle and Eric Menendez story on Netflix. The Penguin on hbo.
Max Ripley on Netflix and True Detective Night Country, HBO Max. So the only ones we've seen of those actually is baby reindeer, but I.
Don'T need to see. No, I'm just kidding. I don't need to see any other ones. No, I'm just kidding. Yeah, I love baby reindeer. So.
Well, and we've got like disclaimer Monsters, the Penguin, Ripley and True Detective are all marked for our list. They're just not enough time in the week or the day. You know, it just kind of seems like we're caught up in so many things lately.
We can't really sit down and really enjoy TV like we used to. But, you know, You. I know. Baby reindeer, probably. And, well, I've heard the Penguin is really way up there, so a disclaimer.
And same thing with True Detective. Night country is supposed to be way up there in regard to it as well.
Best performance by a female actor in television series Drama Kathy Bates, Matlock, Emmy Darcy, House of dragons, Maya Erskine, Mr. And Mrs. Smith, Karen Knightley and Black Doves. Black Doves is phenomenal. If you're a spy geek, you really need to watch Black Doves.
I've never, I don't think I've ever heard of Black Doves.
Yeah, it is. It's similar to Mr. Mrs. Smith, kind of. She's. She's works for an elite dark agency and she's a.
She assassinates people and then gets caught up in people trying to assassinate her, including the agency she actually works for. So, you know, it's. Yes, it is.
Sounds good.
Yes. Kick ass. Look, you could twist my arm, I'll watch it again with you and I'll even not give anything away. You just won't have to. Just don't watch me.
Okay?
Okay.
So if you see me at the edge of my seat, you know something's going to happen if you see me. Yeah, so. But, yeah, and, and I sway with Shogun. So here's the thing.
Kathy Bates, obviously she's back on the market within the industry because she just beat cancer. So kudos to Kathy Bates for beating cancer.
Good for her. And she's still who she is. I mean, she's always been a great actress.
Everyone else on this list, again, tight, tight race. Any one of them that wins deserves to win, in my opinion. Any one of them.
It would be difficult for me to really say which one sticks out better than the other, you know, but I'll tell you every. Each one of them deserve the nomination and deserve to win Best Performance by Male Actor in Television series. Donald Glover, Mr. Ms.
Smith, Jake Gyllenhaal, Presumed Innocent Gary Oldman, Slow Horses Eddie Redmayne, the Day of the Jackal Hiroyuki Sonata from Shogun Billy Bob Thornton for Landman, Land Main, landman. I've seen Mr. And Mrs. Smith, slow horses. I started watching so Far and Gary Oldman obviously is Gary Oldman doing his thing.
Eddie Redmayne, we know him for what he does.
Day the Jackal is based upon the movie Day of the Jackal, which everybody wasn't a big fan of in the first place, being a cop because this was all about a guy that was running around assassinating people with a sniper rifle and this kind of a thing.
Yuck.
Yeah. So it's one of those things that I probably.
I will watch it because it was a nominee and see what happens if I don't like it, then if we don't like it, we won't watch it. Billy Bob Thornton and Landman. I don't know what that is, so forgive me, everybody.
Best performance by a female actor in a television series, musical or comedy. Kristen Bale. Nobody wants this again. Gotta watch it, gotta watch it, gotta watch it.
Yes, yes, Yes. I hope she wins. I kind of hope. I really hope she wins, actually.
But Quinta Brun.
It's a tough category. This tough category.
It is Quinta Brunson again for Abbott Elementary. That's again, I say iu Edebiri in the bear, who I believe she won last time. Selena Gomez only emerged in the building.
Katherine Hahn, Agatha all along. Gene Smart hacks. Jean Smarts won in the past for it. So is Quinta Brunson. She's won. IO has won.
So I'm voting for Christian Bale or Selena Gomez or Catherine Hahn, actually.
Yeah, they're all so good. I mean, that's a tough category. Very tough. It's going to be interesting.

One of my favorite shows ever, ever, ever in my entire life. If you have not watched shrinking, what have you been doing with your life? Oh, my God, I love that show.
And we've done an episode on shrinking and we just need to do a follow up episode on shrinking because. Yes. So my, my guess is here, my wish list is Adam Brody or Ted Danson or Steve Martin.

Harrison Ford. He didn't want to do tv. He stayed away from TV for so long and then when they did tv, when they brought him this.
Yeah, this was kind of like his first introduction into a television series. And you would. You just slid right in there, boy.
