Jim Rough

Social innovator

Jim Rough, Director of the Center for Wise Democracy, is a social innovator, seminar leader and author of the book “Society’s Breakthrough! Releasing Essential Wisdom and Virtue in All the People” (2002). Jim developed “Dynamic Facilitation,” helping individuals and groups solve impossible problems. From this, he developed the “Wisdom Council Process,” for helping large systems of people to face impossible-seeming problems, achieve breakthrough progress and come together with shared perspectives. Jim and others are bringing forward the ToBe Project, applying the Wisdom Council Process to global society to resolve the meta-crisis and establish democratic global governance.
